Logical Button Placement — Frequently used controls such as directional navigation, selection, home, and back functions are positioned within the user’s natural thumb reach to minimize physical effort. The overall goal is to create an enjoyable and frustration-free experience, allowing users to navigate content comfortably without needing to look down frequently at the controller.

STORY
My name is La Tasha, and I am a User Researcher and User Experience (UX) Designer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I bring approximately 14 years of experience in graphic design and 3 years of experience in user experience design, combining visual communication expertise with research-driven design practices to create meaningful and user-centered experiences.
I earned an Associate Degree in Graphic Communication from the Community College of Allegheny County in 2015, a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from La Roche University in 2019, and a Master of Science in User Experience Design from Kent State University in May 2026.

E.L.S.G. is a discovery research application developed by
a UX design team to help people create personalized strategies for managing everyday expenses and achieving their financial goals. The concept was created to explore how a digital financial resource could help users better understand their spending habits, identify opportunities to save, and develop practical strategies that fit their everyday lives. Through user-centered research and UX design, the team aimed to create a resource that makes financial planning more approachable, practical, and accessible for people navigating today’s economic challenges.
